About poojalooba.com
Who Is poojalooba_cow?

I'm poojalooba_cow.  I'm the owner/webmaster of poojalooba.com.  I'm seventeen.  Male.  I was born on November 6, 1991.  I live in the United States.  I have a mother and a father and five sisters and zero brothers and zero dogs.  I am in my Senior year in High School.  I love skiing, both on water and in the snow.  I like to play tennis, racquetball, squash, and badminton.  I am a fairly good artist with pen and pencil, although I would like to hone my skills some more.  I drive a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta GL with Weezer stickers and Alta ski resort stickers on the back.  It's a manual transmission, and from the day I finally learned how to drive one, I became a manual snob.  If it doesn't have three pedals, it's not for me.  My dream car is a Porsche 911 Carerra 4S Cabriolet.

I am good with computers.  I own a Dell Dimension E310 which has 1GB of RAM and a Pentium 4 520 HT.  It's a few years obsolete.  I code this website by hand, I do all the photography/Photoshops, etc.  I love electronics.  I've made a number of projects, including a sustain pedal for my digital keyboard, a microphone for my music recording, a wireless Skype phone, a talkbox for my guitar, a fuzz pedal for my guitar, and a line-in audio jack that runs through my car's tape player (which gained me a fair amount of recognition in the DIY-world when I blogged about it).
I make videos with my friends.  Sometimes they're pretty random, other times we set out with a plot and a goal in mind.  We started movie-making as an assignment for English class in the 2005-2006 school year and decided it was pretty fun.  Every so often we get together and film a cool movie, and I post it on this site and other places.
I live and breathe music.  I love listening to music, I love playing music, and I love composing music.  Jazz is my favorite kind of music - I love its intricate chord changes, its complex melodies, and the freedom of improvising.  I can play the piano, the guitar, the trombone, the trumpet, the euphonium, the tuba, the ukulele and the harmonica.  I would love to learn how to play the drum set, the upright bass, the saxophone, the french horn, and the bagpipes.  I enter local music contests on the piano and I've placed in some and even won money in some.  I'm planning on entering songwriting contests in the near future.  At school, I'm in the Jazz Band on the piano and I'm in the Concert Band on the euphonium.  I took AP Music Theory last year and got a 5 on it (the highest score).  I want to be a music major at Snow College in Utah (they have the best two-year music program in the nation) and then I want to transfer to the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio or maybe Tulane University in New Orleans.

What Is poojalooba.com For?
poojalooba.com is mainly a personal site for whatever I want to put on it.  It's got all kinds of stuff, including the movies my friends and I have made, the Photoshop jobs and the drawings I've done, the electronics/programming projects I've worked on, and various other things like links to my favorite sites.  By far, though, the largest section of the site is devoted to my music project.  I've had almost ten years of musical education, but I only recently started writing songs.  I write in the alternative-pop genre for the most part, but I have influences from a tremendous number of backgrounds, so I throw in some classical music or some acoustic music or some jazz or some Caribbean-style music occasionally.  I upload all my music to my site and it's available for free download, so if you like a song, feel free to download it.  If you like me enough, please consider donating to my music project.
