Website Resources
Google Apps - My website is hosted through Google Apps.

KompoZer - A nice, simple, (semi-frustrating) HTML editor from the Mozilla Foundation.  All of my website building is done in KompoZer.

Feed Validator - For RSS Feed builders, Feed Validator is like an online syntax debugger.  Type the URL of your feed and it'll validate it for you, telling you if you've done it correctly (and if you haven't, it'll tell you how to correct it).

StatCounter - Free tools for website tracking, providing detailed website traffic results and trends.

Creative Commons - Free online licensing tools for a variety of intellectual property projects.

Blogger - Free online blog building tools powered by Google.

Twitter - Simple and fun micro-blogging service.  Maximum post length allowed: 140 characters.

Photobucket - Free online image/video hosting.  Semi-limited in content (no big files) but great storage/backup for everyday image hosting.

Le Site Du Billou - I received help from Billou in building my old website, and his site is still packed with great little sneaky HTML tips and tricks.  He's not a native English speaker, but for the most part he is easy to understand.

Music Resources
Audacity - Open-Source sound editor.  Plugin-friendly, Audacity contains powerful tools for music mixing and mastering.

iLike - Online music discovery.  Free to set up either a user or artist account, great for emerging artists.

The Indie Band Survival Guide - Everything you'd ever want to know and then some about managing an indie music project.

MySpace Music - Excellent place to find emerging artists and already established world-famous artists.

Friend Sites
Jman--8 - I have collaborated with Jman--8 on a number of video/music projects in the past, but sadly his site hasn't been updated since 2007.

BloodLust Sheep - Kind of a messy site, very graphic/sound intensive.  Epileptics beware.  He has some decent information and some total junk on his site, it's kind of all mixed together.

Scarfboy - My semi-rival.  He's still a friend and he has some decent group information on his site.

Poojoos And Squiggy - Poojoos is actually just Scarfboy, and I can't help but wonder if that name is a blatant rip-off of mine.  Squiggy is his partner-in-crime, and this site is built kind of around a group media-sharing idea.

Bobaloo - I don't think this site has been updated a single time since the first time it was built.  He's part of the Scarfboy/Squiggy/Bobaloo trio.

Ninja Dog - I'm not sure what he likes his user name to be; he's been going by Ninja Dog more than shadow.wolf10 lately.  He's got some weird stuff on his site.

Dark Oreo - Watch out for sloppy site-building, more like.  Still worth a visit, I guess.

Personal Links
Old Website - My old site, limited by the crummy Google Page Creator application. Some powerful site-building tools are included in Google Page Creator, but they're also powerfully annoying.  My old site has a small amount of relevant information that hasn't been transferred to this site.

Google Group - My defunct Google Group.  Members feature the people listed as friends above and a few more.  There really hasn't been any posting there in months, and if you're not already a member you have to request to join.

MySpace Artist Page - If you like the music on my music page, please consider hitting me with a friend request on MySpace.  Show some support on a globally public level!

YouTube Channel - Check out music videos, comedic shorts, and other assorted videos on my YouTube channel.

iLike Artist Profile - If you have a Facebook/Bebo/MySpace account, chances are you'll have an iLike applilcation linked to it.  You can either become a fan of my music through the social-networking service of your choice, or you can directly become a fan on iLike.

iLike Listener Profile - If you have an iLike listener profile, be my friend and share your music tastes!  I'm always open to new music suggestions.

Twitter - If you have a Twitter account, follow me on this microblogging service.  If you don't have a Twitter, consider getting one. They're fun!

Blog - My blog.  Subscribe via Atom feeds or just check it.  I don't really update it with anything personal (that's what my Twitter page is for), I update it with thoughts on technology, music, and other geeky things.

Other Noteworthy Sites
Indie Invasion - Indie Invasion is a podcast show done by my old friend Carlos Killpack, who used to live in my neighborhood and now lives in Texas.  At least as obsessed with music as I am (if not more so), he scours the net for great indie artists and brings them to you on a semi-random basis.  A good source for discovering new artists.

Songs To Wear Pants To - Andrew "Pants" Huang is a prolific songwriter and he makes his living off of writing commisioned songs from people.  His style and lyrics and songs are hilarious and awesome.

xkcd - My favorite webcomic.  Sometimes it gets a little raunchy, most of the time it's hilarious.

Improv Everywhere - A comedic performance-art group in New York.  I wish I could go to NYC and join up with them, because they are amazing.

Snopes - I hate receiving spammy forwarded emails whose recipient list is bigger than the email itself.  Next time you get an email telling you a true inspiring story or serves you with too-good-to-be-true information, check it up on Snopes before sending it on to others.  The world will thank you.

Shut Up And Google It - Next time you ask your smart friend a question, I hope he directs you to this site.  Or you could pre-empt him and go there yourself.

Dave Barry's Blog - A humor-writer for the Miami Herald (sadly, now retired), Dave Barry has to be one of the most hilarious people on the planet.  Most of his blog posts are links to weird stuff, but occasionally he drops a gem of original writing that sets me laughing so hard I can't breathe.  Go check it out.

About

This page is for external links that lead away from poojalooba.com but are still  relevant in some way to my site.  There are links to the tools I use for creating this website and other online resources, links to websites of my friends, links to really cool stuff that I've found, and maybe someday I'll have affiliate links with other sites, but for the moment there are no affiliate links.  It should be noted that most of my friends rarely, if ever, update their websites.  I'm just providing links as a courtesy head-nod.
