Music Player For Convenient Listening
I've added a simple flash-based streaming music player to each of the
individual song pages for increased ease of listening.
There's a link underneath the player so you can directly
download the song, but if you'd like to just stream the song or listen
without having to navigate away from the page, the player allows you to
do that. It's got all the basic functions of a music player,
rolled up into a nice small package: You can pause, seek, see
elapsed time/total time, etc. It should greatly enhance
everybody's listening pleasure when you're checking out my songs.
Enjoy!

Songs
Are Finally Available For Listening
I finally got around to updating this site again, and I've added the
three high-quality songs I've recorded since I got my new
microphone:
RPG, The Newspaper, and The Microphone Was Upside Down.
They're available for listening/downloading on the Emissions
Test page. Just choose those songs from the
tracklist to be
taken to a separate page for the song. None of the rest of
the songs work yet; if you try to listen to any other songs you'll get
a 404 error because I haven't even built their pages yet. I
am in the middle of recording a few more songs, though, and I'll try to
get them up in the next few weeks. Then it'll be time to
start writing songs from scratch again, and I'll have about eight more
songs to go. The whole album might be finished by around
March, so check back then!

New
Microphone And New Recordings
My new Samson C01U
compared with my old crummy hacked mic.
I have a new high-quality USB studio condenser microphone (a Samson
C01U) so instead of the dry, hollow-sounding recordings from my
hacked-together telephone mic, I get full, gain-less and static-free
high-quality recordings from my new USB microphone. Having a
USB microphone also means that the audio feeds directly into the buffer
for the USB hub and bypasses the computer's crummy preamp and is
instead preamped inside the microphone itself, so I can get even
higher-quality recordings than an analog XLR mic.
Having the ability to record
high-quality audio means that I will be re-recording all the music I've
released so far and recording a few new tracks as well. I'll
upload them all together in about a week or two, so check back then!
Also, happy new year! This is
the year I'll finally get down to work and finish up the entire album,
now that I'm motivated with a microphone that doesn't fight me all
along the way. I recorded the original RPG song in Janurary
2008, so it's been an entire year, but I think I have the concept and
the idea down and I have the ability to write good stuff.
Keep checking back for more periodic updates!

Donate
Page Launched
As an emerging artist with crummy recording equipment, it doesn't feel
right to try and charge money for my songs (yet). However,
I'm not opposed to taking donations in order to help with getting new,
better equipment for my home recording studio. I do have
other sources of income, but I also have other demands on my money.
If you donate to poojalooba.com, 98% of your donation will go
directly into a fund set aside for the purchasing of new musical
equipment (the other 2% is the cut that the online payment company
takes). It will not be spent on anything else at all.
If you're interested in donating or
would like to learn more, visit the donate page.
If you'd like to contact me with any questions you have, view
my contact details on the contact page.

The
Newspaper Music Video Live On YouTube!
A while back, Jman--8 and I decided it'd be fun
if we made a music video for one of the songs that I had written.
We took three days to record it and then Jman--8 spent a
month diligently editing it. Check it out below or click the
link to view, rate, and comment on the movie on YouTube!
Music
Page Launched!
Welcome to poojalooba_cow's
music page! I'm a talented musician (I can play the piano,
the guitar, the trumpet, the trombone, the ukulele, and the hamonica)
and a semi-motivated songwriter and I'm slowly working on an album of
original recordings, with genres that range from folk to
acoustic instrumental to hard rock.
I'll update this page with recordings of
my songs and information about the album/songs. I'll also
post any videos/pictures that are relevant to my music project.
Check back often!

Who Am I?
Welcome! I am poojalooba_cow.
I'm a talented musician and I recently decided to try my hand at
composing.
I don't like to stick to only one genre,
so
my songs vary greatly from track to track. If you're
interested
in hearing any of the music I've composed, choose one of the albums
from the list below to listen to the songs I've recorded.
The
"Emissions Test" album is the album that I'm currently working on, and
the "Other" option is for other music that I've recorded but not put on
an album.
Since I have no advertisements on my site, I'll see if I can earn any
money by pandering for donations. These donations are not
just for anything, though. At this point in my musical
career, I don't have very much equipment and lots of it is not very
good. If you donate money to the poojalooba_cow music cause,
the only
things I will use the money for are things that directly pertain to my
music project. I won't spend it on food, candy, games, other
music albums, et cetera; I'll spend it on music equipment, digital
music hosting, CD publishing, et cetera. That's a promise. If
you're interested or would like to learn more, click the Donate button
above.
